Kids

We pray and hope that kids walk away from our ministry knowing God, not just learning how to be good. It is our desire that in learning about God, He is the motivation and reason to walk in wisdom.

What Kids Ministry looks like, each Sunday

STEP 1: CHECK IN

Every Sunday morning, parents check their children in for the Kids Ministry classes. If you are visiting for the first time, head over to our Kids Check-In Station to register your child and learn more about our classes!

STEP 2: CLASS DISMISSAL

After you check your kids in, you can all sit together as a family during the service. After singing and prayer, kids will be dismissed to classes. Kids will line up in the hallway and the teachers and helpers will walk students down to their classrooms.

STEP 3: WHAT KIDS LEARN

The teachers and helpers will read a Bible story to the students and use crafts, songs, and other activities to present the message of the gospel, through the text. Our goal is that our young people become genuine worshipers of Jesus Christ, to prepare them for adulthood by training their eyes on their Savior.

STEP 4: KIDS CHECK-OUT

After the sermon, parents will need to bring their check-in tag to the classroom to retrieve their child. Teachers will then check the child out and release them to your care. You are encouraged to retrieve your children before communion and the final worship songs so they can still be a part of the service.

SAFETY:

We take the safety of our young people very seriously, which is why we have a check-in and check-out system in place. We use a secure system called Planning Center Check-In to keep track of all children and workers. All volunteer teachers and helpers are partners at Remedy City Church, have passed a background check, and have completed a Child Safety Training prior to working with kids. Additionally, we do not include pictures of children’s faces in any of our media platforms.
